#8: Putting Together the Pieces
I want to help the environment in Vermont by changing the story of the Addison Natural Gas Project.
I want to target Vermont students, lawmakers, and most of all, Vermont community, because the people should have a say in the pipeline.
8.5: I am extremely passionate about the environment and I have decided that the pipeline is how I would like to pursue it. The more I learn about my topic, the more I feel there is to learn and the more I want to keep learning. I might be open to switching topics if I have to and if I find another one that I am passionate about, but I will do everything I can to continue working on this topic.

Greta,
I heard this commentary on VPR tonight and wanted to share it with you: http://digital.vpr.net/post/schubart-consensus
I was reminded of your project on the pipeline as I listened to him explain what consensus is and how it relates to individual rights and opinions.
It got me thinking: if we are considering the health of the planet, should we still strive for consensus, or is that how we end up with things like the pipeline?
Erik
Thank you! That is SO helpful, interesting, and related!

Hi Greta,
Came across this article which has a somewhat optimistic slant and thought you’d find it of interest. Cheers, Shel
