An Examination of Theo E.N.
Salutations! My name is Theodore Ellis Novotny, but everybody just calls me Theo. I am in sophomore year at Burlington High School and delighted to be partaking in my second year of WtS! One thing that you should know about me is that, as an identical twin, I hate it when people act like the two of us are one unit to save work for them, or they just don’t bother to learn to tell us apart!
Even though the group that my topic was placed in was Body Positivity, I would rather be part of the Racism/Indigenous People/Abenaki group. It was the topic that I wanted to focus on two years ago, but I was not up for tackling that large of a topic all by myself.
As a teammate, I usually put on the table some leadership experience; creative work like music, art, or occasionally coding; and a lot of enthusiasm! On the other hand, I am not the most social and outgoing person, so I often need people who are more extroverted to create a balanced group.
All in all, I am really excited for this year of WtS! I am looking forward to getting to do this program again, and to see how it has changed over the last year!
