#2: Living the Minority Life in Rural America
We, as Vermonters, live in a world of little to no diversity, yet that does not mean it doesn’t exist. What I want to do with the resources given to me, is tell the stories of families that are at least part of a minority. We are a primarily white, liberal, middle class state. People often tell me that racism, sexism, and homophobia don’t exist here. I want to tell the stories of regular people who have the qualities and amazing gifts to prove them wrong.
