Want to join in the filmmaking fun as a small group?
Beside Individual Student Applications, which can be found on the Apply Page of our site, small groups can apply to be a WTS Affiliate and join our program in one of two ways:
- A small group of 1 or more adult mentors and 2 or more middle-or-high-school-aged youth can join our program and meet with the full cohort of participants according to our calendar of key dates. In 2023-24, affiliate groups will join WTS from at least Wyoming, New Mexico, and South Carolina.
- Or if you need more flexibility with the help of WTS but without the requirements of dates, a group can choose the degree to which they follow the WTS curriculum, drawing from occasional support and access to instructional materials. Here, groups make their own filmmaking path supported by WTS’ community & resources.
WTS Affiliates will be encouraged to submit their films for and attend the 2023-2024’s WTS Film Showcase, held at the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English campus in Ripton, VT from July 12-13, 2024. You can apply to be a WTS Affiliate from anywhere in the world, so please share this wild opportunity widely!
